I was checking my blog history here and it has been quite a while since I have updated you on just how Portal Feeder is working out. It’s time to post a new review and let you know just how things have been working out.

First of all, I’m not rich yet. I know this will come as a disappointment to many of you. It certainly does for me. I’m still plugging away at internet marketing, though, because I believe in its potential.

Occasionally, as things have gotten especially desperate within the household economic situation, I have considered canceling my Portalfeeder subscription, but those considerations have never been very serious.

Portalfeeder for me is a “can’t live without” tool. The capabilities of the software itself is one thing, and its really an increasingly minor factor. There is so much contained within the Portal Feeder community that it has become essential for anyone who is at least semi-serious about their internet marketing future.

I have mentioned in the past the other parts: blog feeder, article feeder, the three-way link system, etc. Those remain fantastic tools, all of which have been improved on to be easier to use and more effective at the same time. The blog feeder, for example, has been VASTLY expanded to allow your content to be syndicated to literally tens of thousands more sites. You don’ get that kind of exposure just anywhere.

One aspect of Portal Feeder that I’d like to emphasize this time around, is the training. While there has always been some training, Jason Katzenback has outdone himself with some of his recent work. Just today I was going through his “PPCK” training (PPC Kahuna, another PF tool). This is some of the best PPC training you can get anywhere. And believe me, I know. I am a paid member of PPC Classroom (not for much longer, though), as well as Commission Blueprint and other PPC training courses. Jason lays it out, and shows you how to use the tools that rival anyone else’s tools (yes, even Google Cash Detective). I will post soon (hopefully) on my PPC success.

The community at Portal Feeder remains alive and thriving. Many internet marketing forums die off after a while, as the founders lose interest and move on to something else, and the users get frustrated and go on searching for the “next big thing.” That hasn’t happened at PF. I still learn things nearly every time I visit the forums. Lots of people sharing tips, asking questions, etc.

To go back to what I said earlier, I’m not rich yet. However, that’s not Portal Feeder’s fault. It’s mine. I am convinced that if I put in more time and effort, I would be much more successful. With the outstanding tools and the best-in-class training that Portalfeeder offers, there is really no other excuse. ??????????? ???? ? ??????

It’s time to show what this baby is capable of (PF 2.0). I have been working on refining the template I am using on this site, so I can easily use it on other sites as well.

Am I worried about footprints? Not really. PF doesn’t add anything that could be considered a footprint, and my templates are pretty simple. If I use the same template for a dozen sites, or 50 or even 100, I don’t think it’s gonna matter all that much. ???????? ? ????

Here is a trampoline site I created entirely with PF2.0:

http://www.trampolinepartsandmore.com

I started with a basic temlate I got at http://www.oswd.org and imported it into PF 2.0. I can show you how I did that another time. It took a while, because it was the first template I really worked with in 2.0. It now consists of 29 pages that are mostly necessary to do some different and cool things. Future sites will not take nearly as long, once the base template is good to go.
For this site, I’m using PLR articles and graphics I got from http://www.plrpro.com. They are a great resource that provides 11 packages a month of high-quality articles. I imported all 40 articles on trampolines into my article pack, so they can be “dripped” to the portal over time. I am also rewriting those articles completely and submitting them to article directories. So far, it’s working great.

????????? ????? ????

I’m also using some other features of PF 2.0 like listing packs, where I take an affiliate datafeed and easily drop that content into my site, rss feeds which are also easily managed in PF 2.0, and I already mentioned the article dripping. I’m using functions of PF to add my site navigation directly below my Adsense link block and make them appear identical. The “Learn More” section is another function of PF that takes keywords from the published articles and lists as many as I specify in the format I specify.

On my “Resources” page, I’m pulling in my links from the Portal Feeder Linking System (see my review here).

One of the best features is “tokens” which allow me to easily change content that appears on multiple pages without editing each page or each page template. On this site, I am using tokens for the site name, the topic of the website, the text of the footer, and a lot more.

I am even using tokens for each of the colors on my site. That will allow me to quickly and easily change the look of my site as I change the topic and use a different header graphic (which, btw, is also a token).

I hope you are getting an idea of just how powerful this Portal Feeder software really is.

I’ve been a PF member since day 1, and there has been a lot going on since December 7, 2005 when I first joined.

Lately, though, there has been even more going on. It was like the PF team was straightening everything up, cleaning out old forum posts, putting a nice shine on everything. It’s been a lot like Spring Cleaning! (Or Fall Cleaning, for the southern half of the world) ???????? ????? ? ???? ??? ??????? ???? ? ???? ???????

??????? ????? ????????? ???????

Well, today the doors–which have long been closed–have opened for a few select customers to join. The only ones invited were, as far as I could tell, those who were on any of Jason Potash’s lists, like his Content Composer, Article Announcer, etc.

Today in the forums there have been a bunch of new “Hello from…” posts. To be honest with you, it’s a little strange seeing new people in what has been a closed community for over a year. Still, new blood always brings new opportunity. Everyone has been thoroughly welcomed by PF staff and members alike.

Soon, and I don’t know if I’m able to say exactly when, the doors will open for what will probably be a very limited time, and more people will be allowed to join.

???? ????? ??????? ????? ????

Stay tuned, as I will be posting more info very soon…

I made the decision at the time to become a charter member. The software we started with was a little buggy and difficult at times. However, I could see there was a lot of promise there.

Through the last year plus, the PortalFeeder concept has evolved into a much more robust package that is truly amazing. I will post more details later on what it is now capable of.

There have also been additional tools to help online marketers, which I will detail in future posts. Best of all has been the community. PF has one of the best, friendliest, and most knowledgeable forums anywhere online.
